CCBVI’s SUMMER DAY CAMP 2016 Kids’ Program
Ages 8 – 13
Monday, June 20th – Friday, July 1st (Except Weekends)
Kids are like sponges; we want them to soak up everything good in the world around them and not miss a thing. Vision loss does not limit your child’s potential. CCBVI’s Summer Youth Camp will reinforce your child’s self-confidence and stretch his imagination, encouraging him to dream big and aim high in the years to come! We are opening new doors of imagination and possibility for your child at CCBVI. Experiencing new things with peers reminds youth who are blind or visually impaired they are not alone, boosting self-image and confidence. Kids will enjoy an educational adventure each day, with a variety of field trip destinations and activities. Putting one’s toes in the sand for the first time is an unforgettable sensory experience; imagine the thrill of braving the beach for a child who has never seen the shore, smelled an ocean breeze, heard waves crash and a seagull’s cry! Your child’s self-esteem will soar as she learns cooking, chemistry and kayaking! Sign up now for an invaluable and unforgettable two weeks – it’s free and the benefits will last a lifetime!
Space is limited; deadline to register is May 31, 2016! Open to youth ages 8-13 years who are blind and visually impaired in San Joaquin County.
